Friends of Fibers - ! Day Fused Glass Workshop

If you knit, crochet, felt or weave – you know that often a clasp, buckle, button or embellishment can turn a simple piece into a spectacular one! Bring your work – or your ideas, and we’ll create several stunning glass elements! No experience is necessary and all supplies are included.

Beyond the Basket  - 2 Day Mixed Media Workshop
2:30 – 4pm  Age 13+
Never made a basket before? No problem! We’re going to be using some unconventional techniques – expect spectacular results!! All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own favorite additions.

Glass + Fibers - 2 Day Mixed Media Workshop
4:30 -5:30pm Age 10+
Students will create a scarf or boa with a unique fused glass - a fantastic Christmas gift!! No experience is necessary. Basic supplies are included; additional supplies will be available for purchase. Register early – class is limited to 10 students.

Frit Forms – 2 Day Kiln-formed Glass Work
1 – 2pm  Age 13+
Using crushed glass, students will create delicate glass bowls that have the unique luminescence of pate de verre. Glass fusing experience is helpful, but not mandatory. All supplies are included. Register early, this workshop is limited to 8 students

Family Glass Nite                       
7 – 9pm
Take time from the holiday hullabaloo to joyfully and artfully celebrate the season! We will spend an evening learning and working together to create unique Holiday platters that commemorate 2008 - and what this season means to you. Come together as a family and create an heirloom in glass. Prior glass fusing experience is helpful, but not necessary; all supplies & equipment are provided.
