Weary of classes with the same tired curriculum, the same tired media, and the same tired instructor – year after year? Our classes are current, refreshing and engaging!

More than just “pretty” and “fun”
All of our classes have been designed in accordance with the National Arts Education Standards and Washington State EALR’s (learning goals). Most students can elect to receive course credit and tuition and/or progress reporting fee reimbursement.

Weekly classes are small – so you can join any time!
In order to provide individual attention and ensure that students are able to progress at their own pace, all classes are limited to 6 – 10 students.

Mentors: A limited number of students aged 14 and up will have an opportunity to mentor younger students during classes while doing their own work. Priority is given to former students. Applicants should submit a brief statement regarding their goals and desires along with their registration. (Mentors may qualify for community service hours – check with your school.)

We are committed to providing excellent instruction. Because we know that Art has the power to change lives. Research shows that Art helps students in ways that no other study can to “develop the attitudes, characteristics, and intellectual skills required to participate effectively in today’s society and economy…” From cradle to grave, Art connects us. Fulfills us. And keep us alive!

Adult Classes are designed to give students an in-depth study in many areas of fine art and craft – in convenient weekly classes. Our instructors are professional artists and craftsmen. And our classes are relaxed and fun!

Family Classes are a great opportunity to experience art making as a family affair. Mom ‘n Me Classes offer a focused opportunity for parents and teens to have fun and connect in a relaxed environment.

Many of our classes are suitable for a range of ages. Children's and Youth classes often include older students, mentors and adults when appropriate; and many Adult classes are open to students 16+ with teacher permission. Ages listed are only a starting place, so check all classes that interest you. We will accommodate you whenever possible - and let you know about other classes as they become available.
